Since 1875, First Presbyterian Church in New Smyrna Beach has been a cornerstone of the community, celebrating over a century of worship and service.
We are committed to nurturing faith through worship, community service, and outreach. Our mission is to help those in need, embrace diversity, and strengthen our ties with one another. Guided by scripture and a love for our neighbors, we seek to foster a supportive environment where everyone can grow spiritually. We also aim to encourage participation in various ministries, enhancing the lives of our congregation and the community at large. Through acts of service and compassion, we aim to reflect Christ’s love and grace to the world.

Rev. George Head
Joining our church in 2019, George presents interesting and inspirational messages in worship, guides committees and staff from his wealth of experience as a pastor for more than 40 years.
Anne Perdue
As Clerk of Session, Anne keeps records and administers the Session's decisions and direction. She brings many years of church experience on the local church level as well as serving with distinction on the Presbytery level.
Marshall Wright
Marshall assists in church media and audio for smooth operations.
Ed Carter
Ed administers the church's finances, presents budgets and highlights stewardship within the congregation. He faithfully serves as our church treasurer.
